Smoking Eyes!

I’m absolutely loving the Sleek Bad Girl Palette at the moment and for all you girls out there who love to smoke it up, then you will too.

It’s fairly similar to the limited edition Graphite palette so if you couldn’t get your hands on that then the Bad Girl Palette is just as fab.

As with every Sleek eyeshadow palette there is 12 different shades which range from a pearlescent vanilla highlighter through to a matt black with gorgeous shades of blue, green, silver and purple in between.

Unleash your creative side and create a smokey eye that can be seen on the catwalks at London Fashion Week or in Vogue and Elle Magazine.

Watch this space for a tutorial by me using the Bad Girl Palette.

7 essentials I can’t live without....can you?

I thought I would share with you my 7 essential products that I can’t live without on my bathroom shelf, that keep me looking, well relatively normal anyway!

I like to pass on my knowledge of fantastic products so you can get the benefit from them and share them with your friends too.

1. SBC Collagen Gel

I use this everyday and night under my daily moisturiser. You can also use it as an intensive hydrating mask once a week, just apply a thicker layer to your face, neck and chest, sit back, relax and let it sink in for about 20 minutes, after this time massage any outstanding product into the skin….heaven!

Its also great for all those mums/mums to be as it works a treat on your stretch marks!

Check it out at http://www.sbcgels.co.uk/

I highly recommend this product, even my fiancĂ© swears by it :)

2. Sanctuary Illuminating Moisture lotion

A fantastic hydrating moisturising gel which easily absorbs into your skin, helping to plump up your skin cells and aid the elimination of fine lines and wrinkles. One word…..fabulous! All my brides love this and now use it themselves.
With an SPF of 15 and radiance-boosting particles which illuminate your skin giving you a dewy finish, this light protective lotion is the key to looking radiant.

It contains red bush tea which is a natural antioxidant that protects against damaging free radicals and moisturising algae and papaya extracts which balance your skin’s hydration levels. Radiance-boosting particles even and.

This is a fantastic daily moisturiser, which can also be mixed with your usual foundation for that added Hollywood glow.

You will also find this product stocked at your local Boots store.

3. Crabtree and Evelyn La Source Hand Therapy Cream

A perfect gift for your hands during the winter months!

This award winning cream contains shea butter which is known for its great moisturising properties, Chamomile which soothes and vitamin E which is anti-ageing.

This cream should be used all year round by all ages, as for us ladies it’s always our hands that give our age away, so keep them soft and supple.

4. Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

Love love love this product!

I discovered this product on QVC and have never looked back. It’s a pre-shampoo that gives your hair elasticity and bounce and the volume you get (if you style your hair properly that is) is amazing. It also provides UV protection even after washing your hair, which will help to prolong the life of your colour.

5. Batiste Dry Shampoo

Now my girlfriends know that everyone that I meet I always rave about this product!

You know sometimes you really just cannot be bothered to wash your hair, that extra 20 minutes is crucial to our beauty sleep so I say grab the dry shampoo. This fabulous products gets rid of your oily roots and smells really nice aswell so you’re not left with that “I’ve just put Johnson’s baby powder on my slightly unwashed smelling hair” oh yes we’ve all been there!

It’s also great for styling your hair too. I don’t know about you but I find it easier to style my hair when it’s a day or so old rather than when I’ve just washed it as it’s to soft so ends up falling out by the end of the day/night.

Check it out at http://www.batistehair.co.uk/.

You will also find it stocked at your local Boots store.

6. Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation

This is a lovely foundation. If you have dry to combination skin and don’t like a heavy base then this is perfect for you!

It glides on like silk and can be built up to provide a light-to-medium coverage. With an SPF 15 it protects against UVA/B rays and moisturises your skin, helping to diminish fine lines and wrinkles, leaving you with a healthy glow.

If you prefer a slightly heavier coverage or you have oily skin then heck out the other foundations in the Chanel Lumiere range. You can find more details at http://www.chanel.com/

7. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner

Every girl needs a gel liner in their makeup bag!

Throw away your awkward liquid liner with the dodgy application brush that never allows you to get a straight line and invest in a gel liner. The Bobbi Brown once is fab, it’s Long-wearing, water-resistant and glides on easily giving you time to perfect your flicks before it dries. Apply with an eyeliner brush for a precise finish.

There is an array of colours to chose from so let out your creative side!

Bold as you go

A hot trend for Spring/Summer 2011 is fresh polished skin with a pop of bright pink neon lippy as seen at Jil Sander and Diane Von Furstenberg. This emanates the key trend of block colouring for this season.

Mac has some fantastic colours for this trend. Try Girl about Town or Impassioned and not forgetting Viva Glam Gaga but you'll have to be quick as this is a limited edition shade!
